A Bit About Me
My name is Mausam and I am a student at the University of Toronto (St.George), currently doing a double major in Human Biology, and Cell and Molecular Biology.
I've always had a knack for life sciences and aspire to pursue a career that centers around the same. My interests mainly lie in biotechnology and its applications in the real world. I try to deepen my knowledge about concepts that pique my interest in many ways, such as choosing to write a four-thousand-word research paper about the effect of temperature on Penisituem glaucum, or writing a paper on the effect of food preservatives (such as sodium benzoate) on lactobacillus bacterial strains, or reading research papers and articles about the same and attending programs. Chances are that when I'm driving or working out, I'm listening to a podcast about biology.
Other topics that I am passionate about and can probably be found doing research on over the weekend include climate change, productivity, astrophysics and the occasional (admittedly lesser than I would like to claim) dabble in world history.
